After years of hard work and dedication, the first round was played at Killeen Castle in 2008.

Designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus himself, 18 holes were opened to play for those who want a slice of Ireland’s finest castle golfing experience.

Killeen Castle hit the spotlight when the Solheim Cup was played at the course in September 2011 and supercharged its appeal to visiting golfers.

From July 2023 Killeen Castle will have 6 elegant 3 bedroom houses, each of which will accommodate up to 6 people. The houses will be conveniently located overlooking the beautifully appointed walled garden, with a golf course view over the world class Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
