A typical Scottish links course, the Fraserburgh Golf Club is laid out over an area well protected by sand dunes.

Thanks to the generosity of Lady Saltoun and James Braid’s design skills, 12-14 holes were set up in 1891 on their current site.

In 1922 it was extended further to 22 holes with many improvements made since then while still staying true to his concepts for most part.
