A challenging course with views across to Somerset and Devon, Roman Road is named after the old Via Julia Roman highway that ran through its fairways.

The par 70 has been designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior who also created Otterburne in Northumberland as well as Great Torrington Links on Exmoor National Park’s south coast – both classic courses which can be found throughout Europe today!

This challenging course features some long open fairways but also a number of twists and turns through trees and across streams.
