OKOL Lake Park will set new standards for golf in Bulgaria and the Balkan region when it opens in 2023.
The resort will feature an 18 hole championship golf course managed by IMG and designed by European Golf Design, a unique 149-room 5 star Pullman hotel, luxury spa, extensive event facilities and an array of fantastic real estate opportunities.
The golf course will be located right in the centre of the development, around 1,000 meters above the sea level and offering stunning views of Iskar Lake, the largest in Bulgaria, and the distant Rila Mountains & the famous Borovets ski resort.
The golf course is further complemented by extensive practice facilities and a state-of-the-art golf academy featuring IMG Performance Studios, that offer the latest in swing analysis and custom-fit technology – the studios and players development programmes are designed to not only improve existing golfers but to develop and nurture local golfing talent and find the next Bulgarian golfing stars.
Designed by one of EGD’s leading architects Robin Hiseman, the course will aim to become the first in Bulgaria to achieve the GEO accreditation, further emphasizing OKOL’s commitment to keep and enhance the nature surrounding the whole development.
A true alpine meadow, OKOL’s golf course is strewn with many impressive granitic tors throughout the layout. The architect has designed the course in a way that a minimal amount of earth has to be moved.

The Pullman OKOL Golf Resort & Spa Hotel will offer 149 rooms and 40 Pullman Living branded residences along with a 4,900m2 of luxury rooftop SPA with interior and exterior pool.
