The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews has a new Managing Director.
The former Chief Executive of The R&A, Peter Dawson, will take on the role ahead of St Andrews hosting the 150th Open Championship this summer.
Dawson served as secretary and CEO for 16 years at The R&A before retiring from that position in 2015. He was a member of the Old Course Hotel board of directors since 2004 when the Kohler Company purchased it from its previous owners.

The hotel now boasts 175 rooms, with the introduction of a third floor in the ‘Champions Wing’ and the addition of 31 new rooms, overlooking the Old Course.
