Forfar Golf Club
Forfar Golf Club has the 4th oldest 18 hole course in the world and is considered to be one of Old Tom Morris’ most important creations.
This was his very first 18-hole layout, which he designed based on templates from The Old Course at St Andrews. The club later bestowed him with Honorary Membership after many visits playing there.
A redesign took place in 1926 under James Braid’s advice for improvements which makes it what it is today.
